1/24th TODAY
« on: September 17, 2010, 07:15:58 am »
I think we may have a 1/24th class when we start racing.
The Scaleauto range started with the Porsche 911 RSR and then the BMW M3 GTR GT2 when released. These are around 105 euros and are far cheaper than the Plafit type cars and also give a level playing field in standard trim.
"BRM" 1/24th cars can run in this group but I think will need an upgrade to the motor to compete (which can result in a crown wheel strip unless that is upgraded) and are not so tunable. They felt a "heavier" car when I raced one in the UK!!!! But beautiful cars..
I think that bluprinting of chassis and bearings to axles should be allowed.
This will be discussed when the "Supreme Council" sits to agree some rules.

Fantastic racing today.
In the usual "Anything Goes" Adrian raced his 1/24th scaleauto against the fastest 1/32nd and again showed the excellence of its inccredible performance!!!
